A. An open letter sent to all MPs and Senators via email, plus members of the Parliamentary Press Gallery via hard copy, just after the 2001 Ryan by-election, at a time when voter disenchantment was on the rise (and the economic numbers were starting to look a bit shaky for the Libs, too...OK, so I'm no economist!). I received about half a dozen brief responses from MPs and staffers.
